New Arsenal away shirt for 2009-10
UKSoccershop have today received details of the new Arsenal away shirt for the 2009-10 season. While the Arsenal home kit will remain the same next season as they wore this season, the yellow away kit will be replaced with the racing green strip shown in the adjacent picture.
It’s a somewhat unusual design and on first glance appears to look more like a goalkeepers shirt than an outfield jersey. Our initial reaction when we saw the jersey was “yuck!” but it is starting to grow on us and it is also feasible that the picture won’t do the shirt justice.
The new Arsenal away kit will be available from July 2009. We will be stocking all adult and junior sizes in both short and long sleeves, as well as the equivalent shorts, socks and training wear.
Official shirt printing will be available for all your favourite Gunners stars including Cesc Fabregas, Andrei Arshavin, Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott and Eduardo.
The new kit is based on the Arsenal away shirt from 1982.
